About Aimee

I see what many call “failure” as a powerful opportunity for growth. True success comes from persistence, self-compassion, and the courage to keep going. Clients value my warm, supportive, and goal-oriented approach, which is always tailored to their unique needs. I specialize in sex and intimacy, grief and loss, perfectionism, relationships (pre-marital, marital, divorce, and co-parenting), consensual non-monogamy, self-esteem, mindfulness, trauma recovery, and faith transitions. As an AASECT-Certified Sex Therapist, Level Three Gottman Certified Clinician, and Rape Trauma Advocate, I bring both clinical expertise and deep sensitivity to complex emotional and relational concerns. After losing my first husband in a sudden accident shortly after our marriage, I developed a profound understanding of grief and trauma that shapes the empathy I bring into every session. As someone who is also successfully and happily divorced, I model and teach respectful communication and healthy co-parenting through difficult transitions. I am passionate about helping individuals and couples build resilience, restore connection, and make empowered choices that support lasting well-being. My approach blends evidence-based therapy with compassion, insight, and practical tools—so challenges become opportunities for healing, growth, and meaningful change.

Why NextTherapist?

NextTherapist is a clinician-founded, woman-founded directory built for how people actually choose a therapist — by connection, not just a checklist of specialties. Every profile shows real availability so you book an actual appointment, not a waitlist.
