Through my career as a therapist, I have been shown time and time again just how difficult our circumstances can become. Life is hard, and sometimes it can even feel too hard. However, no matter how trying the situation we may find ourselves in, I firmly believe that we have it within us to make it through. By understanding and applying key values in our lives, we can learn how to find stillness and peace, overcome our hardship and trauma, and gain understanding, strength, and even healing. Life is hard and we do it anyway! My goal as a therapist is to help my clients learn to appreciate and apply these same life changing principles and values in their lives. I have seen the difference that they have made in my own life and the lives of those I have had the privilege to work with, and I know that they can continue to make a difference in the lives of others. Life is hard, and will probably continue to be hard, but just because it is hard doesn’t mean that it can’t be wonderful at the same time. We can do hard things.
