I work with individuals in uncovering and building upon their innate strengths and helping them to live more fulfilled and authentic lives. I have experience working with clients dealing with significant stress, life transitions, and/or trauma and guiding them to a place where they feel more emotionally regulated, allowing them to tap into their natural capacity to cope with life events and find meaning. I have a passion for working with clients navigating internal dissonance, including sexual, spiritual, & other identity issues. I use a variety of counseling approaches that I tailor to help clients reach their goals and get the most from their counseling journey, with my foundation in person centered therapy. I draw from mindfulness based therapy, cognitive therapy, acceptance based therapy, and humanistic therapy approaches to meet clients needs. I believe people possess all the innate wisdom, gifts, and knowledge they need to live a full and congruent life and my role as counselor is to help people come to recognize and unlock their truth within themselves through congruence, transparency, accurate reflection, and unconditional positive regard.
